The fabrics stand up to repeated hot washings. The silky border is reinforced with strong thread and a durable stitch. I use original themes to make each one special.
Quilts and blankets: The quilts are made of front fabric, cotton batting and minky backing. I sew the three layers together in a pattern which makes it sturdy and it will probably hold up better to teething, kneading and play. The blankets have a silkier feel and the front fabric and minky are held together by the silky binding.
